Senior Management team

Martin Stack

Managing Director / Owner

Martin commenced Springmount Services in 2002 after twenty-four years in senior management positions within the industry. Martin is widely respected as a leader, having been voted Vice President of our industry association for several years running and since then has worked tirelessly to develop the organisation into the premier provider of contract cleaning. His efforts have seen us become an industry benchmark and proud recipients of numerous awards. Martin’s unwavering ethics, his accessibility, belief in transparency and accountability are fundamental to us forming long-term relationships with clients. In addition to his commitment to providing a harmonious, safe and secure environment for team members has seen us enjoy low staff turnover. Many of our clients and team members have been our service partners since our inception.

Mike Shine

Chief Financial Officer

Mike is a chartered accountant and holds an MBA. Mike has over twenty two years experience in commerce particularly in manufacturing and agribusiness. Since joining Springmount in 2008, Mike manages the group’s financial reporting and administration functions. In addition, Mike is responsible for managing our risk associated with workers compensation and public liability.

Peter Beresford

General Manager - Commercial

Peter is responsible for the preparation of our tender submissions and manages the mobilisation of new contracts in Queensland. He has over twenty-five years experience in the cleaning industry and has an RCCM (Registered Contract Cleaning Manager) qualification. Previously he was an owner/manager of his own business, following a twenty year banking and finance career, specialising in Corporate Banking and the money market. Business disciplines learned in these industries have been put into practice in the daily management of our company.

Nicola Adair

General Manager - Retail

With over fourteen years in the industry, Nicola’s focus is Quality Assurance (qualified internal auditor). Nicola oversees all the systems and procedures that underpin our business. Previously, Nicola was co-owner of an organisation specialising in retail facilities management.

Andrew Zajaczkowski

Environmental & Customer Service Manager

Andrew has been working within the company for over eight years and his main focus is on environmental sustainability. Andrew heads up the committee who seek and review ‘green’ initiatives, in addition to managing a number of Brisbane contracts.

Brett Weaver

Senior Customer Service Manager /Workplace Health & Safety Officer

Brett has over twenty years experience within our industry. As our qualified WHSO he conducts risk assessments, provides training to personnel, compiles risk management reports and actions safety issues. Brett also oversees our Safety Committee.

Wendy Bettles

National Administration Manager

Wendy has over 25 years experience working within accountancy and administration positions. Wendy manages a small but efficient administration team which looks after all facets of data processing, accounting and administration support within the group.

Environment & Sustainability

Springmount provides cleaning services to a number of ‘green’ properties. We hold ecoClean Level 2 certification.

Locations

Springmount provides a nationwide cleaning service with our head office in Brisbane and a major regional office in Newcastle.
